DAY 01: DELHI ARRIVAL
Arrive Delhi.
Meeting assistance upon arrival, further transfer to the hotel.

DAY 02 : DELHI
Breakfast in the hotel.
Later proceed for Old and New Delhi sightseeing tour.
A direct consequence of Delhi’s rich history is its magnificent monuments. Visit Lal Quila (drive past only) and Jama Masjid.
Lal Quila which was built by great Mughal emperor Shah Jahan is surrounded by a wall of about 2.4 Kilometers in circumference and is built of Red Sandstone. On the other hand Jama Masjid is yet another architectural gift given by Shah Jahan. It is one of the largest mosques in India. Visit Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandi Memorial).
Afternoon sightseeing of New Delhi. Visit the 12th century Qutab Minar, gracefully hand-carved for its entire height of 234ft, and the iron pillar, which has withstood the ravages of time and not rusted even after 1500 years. Visit the mausoleum of emperor Humayun – a forerunner of the Mughal style of architecture a. Drive past the India Gate (war memorial dedicated to the lives of laid down by the Indian soldiers), the president’s residence – formerly the Viceroy’s Palace, parliament House and the Secretariat buildings, – an interesting blend of the Victorian and 20th century architecture.

DAY 03 : DELHI – RISHIKESH 225 KM/ 7 H

After breakfast drive to Rishikesh, upon arrival check in at the hotel.
Rishikesh– set along the right bank of the Ganga, at its confluence with the Chandrabhaga stream, Rishikesh is one of the best located pilgrimages along the Ganga. There is peace and solemnity in the atmosphere. No wonder then that saints and sages come here to commune with god. According to legend, in times long past, a sage Raibhya Rishi, did hard penance to please god. Satisfied by his devotion god appeared before the Rishi here as Hrishikesh which is how the place got its name. DAY 04 : RISHIKESH
Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast full day visit of Rishikesh or Yoga at the Ashram.
The sights to be visited in Rishikesh are Swargashram which is one of the oldest Ashrams in Rishikesh, where as other important ashrams are Parmarth & Shivanda ashrams which are each side of the river Ganga. Ram Jhoola and Laxman Jhoola are the two suspension bridges which connect the important centres on the both side of river Ganga. Bharat Mata temple is the oldest temple of Rishikesh which is dedicated to Rishi Rabhya who did penance at this holy spot.

DAY 05 : RISHIKESH – GANGOTRI 268 km / 8 H

After breakfast in the hotel drive to Gangotri, upon arrival check-in at the hotel.
Gangotri is situated at an attitude of 3,048 mts above sea level. Located on the banks of the holy Bhagirathi River. There is a natural Rock Shivling in Gangotri submerged under water which can be easily seen. According to myths and legends this was the place where Lord Shiva sitting when he received Ganga in his matted locks.
Gangotri offers scenic vistas of rugged terrains, gushingwater of Bhagirathi river and snow clad peaks.

DAY 06 : GANGOTRI

Full day in Gangotri.
Gangotri is the location of the most important temple of the Godness Ganga. The Gangotri Temple is situated on the right banks of the Bhagirathi river. This temple is dedicated to the goddess Ganga. This temple is situated at a height of 3140 meters. The original temple was constructed by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the early 18th century and later rebuilt by the Maharaja of Jaipur. The temple is an exquiste 20 feet high structure made of white granite. Every year people from all around the world visit this shrine between May and October.

DAY 07 : GANGOTRI – HARIDWAR 286 KM/ 8 H

After breakfast drive to back to Haridwar, upon arrival check in at the hotel.
Haridwar is the point where the Ganga emerges from the Himalayas to begin its progress across the plains. Legend has it that the Holy Ganga the holiest of all rivers, which flows through this sacred city, has actually been sanctified by the powerful Trinity of Hindu mythology. While visiting Haridwar the ancient Daksha Mahadev temple is an important site where king Daksha conducted yagna. Later the visit of Siddhapeeth – Mayadevi temple which is believed that the heart and navel of goddess Sati fell when Lord Shiva taking her corpse. Jain temple and glass temple are also highlights of Haridwar. In the evening visit Har ki Pauri for aarti ceremony, also known as Brahmakund and it is believed to be the place where divine nector fell from the pitcher.

DAY 08 : HARIDWAR -DELHI

In a time transfer to international airport to board the flight to onwards destination.
